What are the requirements for obtaining a pension?
In addition to a diagnosis of the disease, you must:

Have a medical-legal recognition from INPS

Achieve a disability rating of 74% or more to be eligible for pensions or benefits

Do not exceed certain income limits (for some benefits)

Be an Italian citizen or a regular resident in Italy
